And I think it’s gonna be a long long time…those words drift about my head often. Probably because of the regularity with which I listen to Rocketman. But I think it’s also because good things take time, and that applies to everything. Self discovery, building a community of friends, uncovering what it is you want to see, explore, and uncover in your lifetime…and space travel! It may take a minute to get to where you’re going, and the journey can feel perilous at times, but in the end you’ll be happy you made the trip! I promise.
The Rocket Man Necklace
Each necklace is a hand crafted ceramic charm produced by Evan Marnell and then glazed with my designs. Evan then fires the pieces and hands them off once more to me to then send out to you on a stainless steel 18” chain that is both gorgeous and built to last!
Consider this a first iteration of many to follow. An act that keeps going, that continues on through a myriad of periods-all differently shaped through their own circumstances. They may not come quickly, in fact they have to travel long distances between the two of us before they can even think about approaching you. But I promise, they will be created in small batches with an originality that shines just as bright as yourself and were handled with more love than you can imagine! I care so much about this project because it’s a reflection of such a precious and important friendship I am privileged enough to be half of. One that transcends space and time and now gets to be documented through a collaboration that can exist in so many different corners of the world, and maybe even around your neck-close to your own heart!
