Belle clouds! In star form! I’ve developed this carving style for how I relay my clouds in my relief prints. And it’s always interesting when I’m in the beginning stages of a print, I have to draw my clouds in this way to be able to visualize how they’ll exist within a print. Sometimes it can feel a little unnatural because originally I thought they best existed this way in carving form, but the more I draw these swirly little Van Gogh-esque lines, the more I’ve come to appreciate how they exist in all forms. I adore the blues in this necklace, and I hope you do too!
