This mugs name came about because of the contemplation I underwent when pulling it out of the kiln to reveal the most unexpected of matte handles. I typically don't touch matte glaze, so I was shocked to find it accenting my mug! Nevertheless, it fits comfortably in your hand which is really all you could ask of a handle.
What this mug does feature is a classic coating of floating blue glaze that shifts within the light to revel gorgeous little seas of galaxies hidden within each curve of the bubble-shaped mug.
It would be a pleasure for it to live in any town. Maybe Hawkins, Indiana? Just throwing it out there.
